DNCE attend TIDAL X: 1015 at Barclays Center on Oct. 15, 2016 in New York City.

DNCE get funky and and a little kinky on their new track "Be Mean," which dropped first thing Friday (Nov. 11). The song is fully driven by a sultry, rhythmic groove reminiscent of an '80s pop love song.

The beat may make you feel a little frisky, and the lyrics describe playful acts of S&M. Lead singer Joe Jonas sings about experiencing sensual pain and pleasure as the song immediately opens with lyrics about whips, handcuffs and safe words.

DNCE will be heading out on tour beginning in 2017. Their self-titled debut full-length album -- which includes "Be Mean" -- is set to be released Nov. 18.
