"Winter is coming. I told you so."

Despite having "no words" moments after witnessing Donald Trump's win over Hillary Clinton, George RR Martin penned his concerns on the matter in a blog post on Tues. (Nov. 9).

"America has spoken. I really thought we were better than this," he wrote. "Guess not."

The Game of Thrones author addressed "President Pussygrabber," calling Trump "the least qualified candidate ever nominated" and went on to further express his disappointment. "Come January, he will become the worst president in American history, and a dangerously unstable player on the world stage," he continued. "Over the next four years, our problems are going to get much, much worse. Winter is coming. I told you so."

A few days before the highly anticipated event, Martin also penned a long post calling out Trump's "political attack ads" and his antics throughout his presidential campaign. "In my lifetime, there has never been a presidential candidate more unfit to lead this nation," the novelist penned. He ended his piece by saying, "You don't need to like Hillary. You don't need to listen to what Hillary says about Trump, or what I say about Trump. You just need to listen to Trump. If you can do that, and still consider voting for him... well..."
