Despite the odds of most polls but in keeping with what he had long promised, Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in this year's contentious, ugly U.S. presidential election. 

Hillary Clinton delivered her message of concession on Wednesday (Nov. 9) morning, and shortly after, sitting President Barack Obama -- who had recently been stumping for Clinton -- scheduled his first public speech since Trump's victory. In past speeches, Obama has vehemently urged the American public that “Donald Trump is temperamentally unfit to be commander in chief."
