Icelandic diva Bjork is enlisting the help of fans to choose the tracklist for an as-yet-untitled greatest hits set, due in September via Elektra. Voting began today on the artist's official Web site and will run for a week. The fan who comes closest to the final tracklist will win "a bag of Bjork goodies" including the hits album and a forthcoming DVD of Bjork's December 2001 performance at London's Royal Opera House.
Bjork has also revealed preliminary plans for a boxed set titled "Family Tree." According to the site, it "will include a small selection of her own favourite roots, strings, and beats tracks, some of which have never been released, nor were they necessarily chart hits."
The artist has no live performances on her schedule for the rest of the year, amid reports that she is six months pregnant by her artist/filmmaker boyfriend Matthew Barney. However, some of Bjork's videos are on display in Liverpool, England, as part of the Tate Museum installation "Remix: Contemporary Art & Pop." Clips by Radiohead, Fatboy Slim, and the Chemical Brothers are also featured.
