Eddie Vedder celebrates with the Chicago Cubs after their victory for the National League Championship between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field in Chicago.

Eddie Vedder led Chicago Cubs fans in a rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” at Wrigley Field for Game 5 of the World Series.

The Pearl Jam frontman got things going with a rousing speech: “Look at this, look at you. Wrigley Field is full, it’s Oct. 30 and there’s baseball at Wrigley Field for the first time in history.”

Vedder’s performance during the seventh-inning stretch follows Bill Murray’s Game 3 rendition. Murray, an avowed Cubs fan, was spotted in the crowd Sunday singing along with the masses.

Vedder proved to be a good luck charm for the home team. The Cubs won the game in a 3-2 nailbiter. The Cleveland Indians, however, lead the best-of-seven series 3-2. Watch Vedder's performance below.
