Lady Gaga attends Tony Bennett's 90th birthday celebration at the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City on Aug. 3, 2016.

Lady Gaga has finally responded to the diss heard 'round the world -- or at least around the Twitterverse. In an interview with Rolling Stone published earlier this month, Alex Pall of EDM duo The Chainsmokers said Gaga's lead Joanne single “Perfect Illusion,” well, “sucks.”

In response, Gaga tweeted the duo directly on Tuesday (Oct. 18), writing, “maybe u guys’ll like this 1 better,” with a link to new single “A-YO."

The duo have since responded:

Gaga supporters are now trending #GagaEndedTheChainsmokersParty on Twitter.

During that RS interview, Pall's bandmate Andrew Taggart jumped to Gaga's defense after Pall's frank review of "Perfect Illusion," adding, "She's a great artist -- like, Jeff Koons made a sculpture of her."

Joanne arrives Friday.
