Look out, Beyonce. There's a new self-assured boss making artistic music videos, and it's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star and Golden Globe winner Rachel Bloom.

In the first music video released from season 2 of the CW comedy, Bloom takes on a more proactive persona and shamelessly spoofs Bey's Lemonade for the "Love Kernels" video, below.

With the first season depicting Rachel Bloom's character, Rebecca Bunch, as someone who dedicated her life to following her childhood crush across the country, the second season changes the development of Bloom's character in the best way possible. In the second season, audiences will be introduced to a new-and-improved Rebecca Bunch. She is set to be more assertive and convinced that her and her crush Josh are destined to be together.

“The spirit of the whole first season was the lies that she’s telling herself -- ‘Josh just happens to be here’ -- and moving into the second season, she’s now convinced that they belong together,’” Aline Brosh Mckenna, who helped develop the series with Bloom, told Entertainment Weekly, which premiered the music video. "She went from denying that she was on a quest for happiness to deciding to go for it.”

Watch the new music video from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend below; the new season premieres Friday at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
