Set for Aug. 17-18 at the Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre near Denver, the event will feature a total of seven acts across its two days: Widespread Panic, Ben Harper, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Steel Pulse, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Angelique Kidjo, and Keller Williams.
Each summer, Widespread Panic has sought to end its tour in an unconventional Colorado venue, such as 1999's "Harmony Fest" at a ski slope on Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen. The state's ongoing problem with wildfires led the band to choose the safer alternative of a more conventional venue for this year's tour finale. Priced at $40 per day, tickets for the festival will go on sale June 22 via the venue's box office at 303-830-8400.
Widespread Panic's summer trek will kick off next week with June 21-22 headlining shows at the sold out Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, Tenn. The group is touring in support of its just released three-disc concert album, "Live in the Classic City" (Sanctuary Records).
