Mary J. Blige Sings to Hillary Clinton About Police Brutality in Interview Preview: Watch

As the world tuned in to watch the first debate between the U.S. presidential candidates on Monday night (Sept. 26), Apple Music released a clip of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton being interviewed on “The 411 with Mary J. Blige.”

In the one-minute preview of their sit-down, Blige serenades Clinton with a song about police violence: “It ain't no secret, my friend/ You can get killed just for living in your American skin.” 

Blige asks, "I just want to know, where do we go from here?"

The singer, a well-known Clinton supporter, debuted her song “Strength of a Woman” at a fundraiser for the nominee in March.
