The Stranger Things theme song haunts you in your sleep. But what if it had some fun, silly lyrics? Three of the hit Netflix show's stars -- Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Noah Schnapp -- sat down with EW recently to reveal that they've actually come up with some words to the haunting music created by two members of instrumental Austin band S U R V I V E.

Matarazzo (Dustin), told the magazine that he comes up with spontaneous lyrics "all the time," and then ripped off a freestyle example as his friends hummed the show's spooky theme. “Will is gone. He’s dead. J.K.; he’s not. Barb is dead — ha!" he sang. Schapp, who plays Will, gave the thumbs up to the new words, while doubter McLaughlin (Lucas) wondered why his pal was messing with perfection, even as he dropped the head-scratching one-liner "it's all about chocolate daddy."

There's plenty of other action in the world of the surprise summer hit that will return for season two sometime next year. In addition to endless takes on the show's signature titles thanks to a meme-generating font creator, the news that Kellogg's had issued a massive recall of Eggo waffles on Monday inspired its own rash of memes tied to Stranger character Eleven's obsession with the breakfast treat.

In related meme-worthy news, the internet has been begging for a meeting of the minds between snotty cool kid Steve Harrington (played by Joe Keery) and his Parks and Recreation dad-elganger, Jean-Ralphio Saperstein (actor Ben Schwartz). Theories abound about whether Saperstein is actually Harrington's TV father and Vulture reported that on Tuesday the two finally appeared together... and it was perfect.
