At the 2016 Emmys, awards show history was made -- the segment where the accountants address the audience was somehow made funny.
Leslie Jones took the stage with three representatives from Ernst & Young, the accounting firm that protects the voting results until the envelopes get opened. After a few words from the suits, Jones took over.
"Y'all protecting something nobody is trying to steal," Jones said, addressing the Ernst & Young reps. "Don’t nobody want to know about boring Emmy secrets. But since you good at keeping things safe, I got a job for you: My Twitter account. Put that in the vault, please.
