America's Got Talent paired a Long Island guy with the Jersey Boys on an eventful season finale Wednesday night.

Standards singer Sal Valentinetti joined the Broadway cast for a spirited rendition of The Four Seasons' 1975 hit "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)," taking center stage as the fifth Season. Valentinetti even showed off his dance moves, not missing a beat with the choreography.

Valentinetti's AGT journey got off to a strong start when he impressed judge Heidi Klum with his version of Frank Sinatra's "My Way." She hit the Golden Buzzer, and the former American Idol Season 14 alum impressed with performances of One Direction's "Story of My Life" and Bobby Darin's "Mack the Knife."

Although Valentinetti finished in fifth place, his parting words were hopeful: "This is not the end for me," he said. "This is the first day of the rest of my life.”
