While participating in the annual Power 106 celebrity basketball game, Chris Brown caused quite a stir when TMZ footage surfaced of the singer sitting during the national anthem on Sunday, which also marked the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Just weeks after San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand during the national anthem during his preseason debut -- in protest of police mistreatment of black Americans -- Brown is just one perfson supporting Kaepernick's boycott. Miami Dolphins running back Arian Foster, along with some of his teammates, recently kneeled during the national anthem, while players of the Seattle Seahawks were seen locking arms in union during Sunday's games. Rapper J. Cole and R&B singer Trey Songz were also spotted donning Kaepernick's No. 7 jersey while performing at recent shows.
