Bruno Mars Collaborator Philip Lawrence Signs with Paradigm

The Grammy-winning producer and songwriter is also launching a new multi-media entertainment company.

Producer and songwriter Philip Lawrence, known best for his work with Bruno Mars, has signed with Paradigm. The Grammy winner also announces the launch of PHILMAR, a new combination record label and multi-media entertainment company, which will also be represented by the agency. 

Lawrence has been Mars' longtime collaborator going back to such hits as “Just The Way You Are," “Grenade,” “When I Was Your Man,” “Treasure” and “Locked Out Of Heaven,” all of which he co-produced. He's also credited on FloRida’s  “Right ‘Round,”  Ceelo Green’s “F*You,” B.O.B.’s “Nothing On You" and Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire" in addition to the 2014 animated movie Rio 2, in which he voiced the character Felipe and performed on the song “It’s a Jungle Out Here."

After Paradigm Music Chief Chip Hooper's Death, Agency Moves Forward

Most recently, Lawrence co-wrote and produced Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk," a 2015 staple featuring Mars which remained in the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 14 consecutive weeks. Lawrence also won a Grammy for it. 

PHILMAR's first projects include the artists Dave Gibson and Christian/gospel duo The Lawrences as well as a TV series with producer Jojo Ryder based on an original character that Philip created.
