Springsteen was close to wrapping up a four-hour marathon and setting a personal record for the longest E Street Band show ever when he noticed a commotion in the pit. "What is going on down there?" he asked.

When he realized a marriage proposal had just happened, the big softie beckoned the couple on stage. "You need to come up here and do it!" he said.

At that moment, a Jersey girl named Jill got the best engagement story ever, as her boyfriend of eight years declared his love for her was stronger than his love of The Boss. "You're my best friend," he said. "I love you more than anyone else in the world. I love you more than music itself. Hell, I love you more than Bruce ... Sorry, Bruce."
