No, My Name Is Jeffery -- or, as he's better known, Young Thug -- has revealed that his name change is only temporary.

The rapper broke the news on Travis Scott's Beats 1 show Tuesday. "I'm going by Jeffery for one week," Thug said. "If I don't sell 100,000 copies, everybody who's talking about Jeffery...Listen." The name references Thug's upcoming mixtape Jeffery, which he has been teasing on his social media accounts ever since announcing it July 9.

The news about Thug changing his name was originally announced on the Aug. 12 Rap Radar podcast by 300 Entertainment founder Lyor Cohen. “Young Thug is not going to be Young Thug anymore," Cohen said. "His new name is gonna be No, My Name Is Jeffery."
