Paul McCartney got by with a little help from his friends during his Sunday night concert at Fenway Park. 

The Boston crowd caught a piece of history when the Beatles great was joined on stage with Grateful Dead legend Bob Weir for a jam on Wings “Hi, Hi, Hi” and the Beatles’ classic “Helter Skelter, according to sources at the show.

Weir’s Dead & Company had just completed a two-night stand at the famous venue. It’s just as well he stuck around because, until now, the pair had never performed together.

And right out of leftfield, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski made a cameo appearance for a spot of air guitar on “Helter Skelter" making for an usual musical triple-threat (see below).
