Ronnie Milsap was taken to a hospital before a scheduled concert in Tifton, Ga., Friday night (July 15).

The 73-year-old Country Music Hall of Famer, who’s known for such hits as "Smoky Mountain Rain" and "I Wouldn't Have Missed It for the World,” was apparently on the mend Saturday morning. The singer has been discharged and was on his way to an evening performance at the Saddle Up for St. Jude benefit concert in Tuscumbia, Ala., according to the event's Facebook page.
