Juanes and Nelly Furtado will duet on the track "Fotografia" at the third annual Latin Grammy awards, which will be presented Sept. 18 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. The pair previously performed the track, drawn from Juanes' Surco/Universal Music Latino album, "Un Dia Normal," in May at the American Latino Media Arts (ALMA) Awards.
Shakira and Thalia have also been added to the Latin Grammy performance lineup, which, as previously reported, will also feature Carlos Vives and Marc Anthony. New presenters include 'N Sync's Justin Timberlake, vocalist Laura Pausini, pop star/actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, and actors Esai Morales, Cheech Marin, and Hector Elizondo. Jon Secada, Daisy Fuentes, and the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter will also present.
The event will be hosted by Gloria Estefan and actor Jimmy Smits and broadcast live on CBS. On Tuesday (Sept. 10), Warner Music Latina will release a compilation CD representing nominees from the categories for record and album of the year, best salsa album, best ranchero album, and best music video.
Vives leads the Latin Grammy field with six nominations. Salsa legend Celia Cruz pulled in four nominations, while Miguel Bose, Emilio Estefan, Juanes, Gian Marco, and Alejandro Sanz each netted three nods.
