NellyAlicia Keys and Eve have been added to the NFL Kickoff Live From Times Square concert, set for tomorrow (Sept. 5) in New York. As previously reported, Bon Jovi and Enrique Iglesias will also perform at the event, portions of which will be broadcast on CBS, MTV, ESPN, and VH1. Later in the day, Bon Jovi will perform at halftime of the NFL season opener between the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers in East Rutherford, N.J.

NellyJames Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Jewel, Kenny Loggins, and Lonestar will perform at New York radio station 106.7 Lite FM's One Night With Lite concert, set for Oct. 1 at New York's Madison Square Garden. Sponsored by American Airlines, the show will raise funds for the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), which works to protect wildlife and environmentally sensitive areas.

Tickets are $129.50, $89.50, $49.50 and go on sale Friday (Sept. 6) via Ticketmaster. Seats can be purchased at the venue box office beginning Saturday.

As previously reported, Taylor will also perform at the Boston edition of Music To My Ears, a concert in memory of late Billboard editor in chief Timothy White. That show is set for Oct. 7 at the FleetCenter; a similar event will be held the following night at Madison Square Garden.

NellyGuitarist Carlos Alomar has been tapped as bandleader for "The Caroline Rhea Show," a new syndicated talk show that premiered yesterday (Sept. 3). Alomar is best known for his work on David Bowie releases from 1975's "Young Americans" to 1987's "Never Let Me Down." He also served as musical director for Bowie's Glass Spider tour and has recorded with the likes of Yoko Ono, Iggy Pop, Cyndi Lauper, and Deborah Gibson.

A well-known comedian who co-starred on the ABC series "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch," Rhea was a frequent guest host on the since discontinued "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." First week guests on her show include Carole King, comedian/actor Drew Carey, and actress Cynthia Nixon ("Sex and the City"). Taped daily in New York, the show airs at various times in different North American markets.
