-- ADA, Warner Music Group’s independent distribution and services arm, has promoted Brandon Squar to Executive Vice President of Digital Sales and Strategy, Worldwide, where he will lead both national and global digital consumer marketing campaigns, as well as develop strategies. Squar brings 20 years of experience to ADA, where he most recently worked as Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy and Revenue.

--  Hein van der Ree has become a partner of Mothership Music Publishing. Previously, Hein van der Ree served a six-year tenure as CEO of BumaStemra.

-- IFPI has appointed Dr. David Price as Director of Insight and Analysis, where he will provide industry analysis on music consumption and the global recorded music market. Price formerly served as Head of Anti-Piracy Research and Analysis at IFPI and is a leading expert in digital piracy and music consumption.

-- Jen Appel has joined Grandstand Media alongside music industry veterans Dana Erickson, Lisa Gottheil, Kate Jackson, and Meghan Helsel. Appel brings in 12 years of experience from her previous work at Press Here Publicity. 

-- The Beggars Group of Labels, consisting of 4AD, Matador Records, Rough Trade Records, Young Turks and XL Recordings, has announced Abby Rubin as newly appointed Licensing Director. Previously, Rubin served as Rights Management Specialist for Vice Media, where she handled global outgoing licensing of Vice digital content.
