Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, and George Strait have been added to the performance lineup for the 36th annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. They join previously announced talent Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, and Shania Twain for the event, set for Nov. 6 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The awards will be broadcast live on CBS beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

Hill is gearing up for the Oct. 15 release of her new Warner Bros. album, "Cry." The title track has been a quick hit at radio, and is No. 12 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart and No. 39 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. The artist will star in her own NBC special in early November.

As previously reported, Jackson leads the field with a record 10 nominations. Keith is nominated for six CMA honors, while Chesney has three nominations to his credit.
