Adam Levine, Blake Shelton & More Stars Reacts to 'Voice' Alum Christina Grimmie's Death

The Voice coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are among the many music stars and celebrities mourning the tragic loss of season six Voice contestant Christina Grimmie, who was fatally shot at a concert Friday night (June 10).

"I'm sad, shocked and confused. We love you so much Grimmie. We are all praying hard that you can pull through this...this just isn't fair," Levine captioned an Instagram photo of the duo.

Fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton also expressed his condolences on social media, sharing with fans that he was "praying" for the young singer and was in disbelief. "Just reading the same stuff y'all are at this point. Can't believe this.." he tweeted.

Grimmie performed with the band Before You Exit at Orlando’s Plaza Live and stayed after the event to sign autographs for fans, when police say a man approached the singer and shot her. He was tackled by Grimmie's brother, and during that struggle, the suspect fatally shot himself, according to police.
