That purported OneRepublic and Calvin Harris collab doing the rounds of social media right now is a fake. But don’t give up hope of both parties getting together in the studio someday.

A track entitled “Walking On The Sun” has surfaced with some fans and bloggers mistakenly attributing it to the American pop-rock outfit and the superstar Scottish DJ and producer.

Calvin Harris Makes Triumphant, Shirtless Return to Social Media

OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder took to Twitter to let his followers know it’s not his vocals. “FYI to whoever leaked the "@CalvinHarris featuring OneRepublic" song - It ain't me singing. Would gladly collab in the future but it's fake,” he tweeted.

Moments later, Harris jumped in with his own denial. And a touch of bromance.  “Btw it's def not my music either. Big up Ryan,” he tweeted.

Harris is stepping back into action after a car accident that left him briefly hospitalized and forced him to perform at a string of Las Vegas gigs over the weekend. The EDM star last year topped Forbes’ Electronic Cash Kings list of the highest paid DJs in dance music.
