Amy Schumer has enlisted some of her Inside Amy Schumer cohorts for the Universal Pictures comedy Who Invited Her?

Schumer, who starred in the hit Trainwreck for Universal, has come aboard to star and produce the project along with Kim Caramele, her sister and a producer on Inside Amy Schumer.

Meanwhile, Tami Sagher, a writer from Inside Amy Schumer, has been tapped to rewrite the script, about an overbearing woman who forces her way into her male best friend’s bachelor party weekend.

Earlier drafts were written by John Phillips and Sascha Rothchild.

The project was previously set up at DreamWorks with producers Russ Krasnoff and Gary Foster of Krasnoff Foster and Reese Witherspoon, via her Pacific Standard banner. They remain involved and will produce with Schumer and Caramele.

Exec vp of production Erik Baiers is overseeing production on behalf of Universal.

Schumer next shoots Fox’s untitled mother-daughter comedy with Goldie Hawn.
