DJ Khaled to Introduce His 'Brother' Justin Bieber at 2016 Billboard Music Awards

Justin Bieber has gotten plenty of co-signs over the years from the hip-hop community. Kanye West, Game, Big Sean, Raekwon, Nicki Minaj, Chance the Rapper, Future and (of course) 2016 Billboard Music Awards co-host Ludacris -- rappers have never shied away from joining Team JB.

Which why it's no surprise that DJ Khaled told People magazine that he's one of Justin's biggest fans and he's honored to be introducing his buddy at Sunday night's show. "He's my brother, you know what I'm saying?" Khaled said of Bieber.

Bieber will perform at Sunday night's 2016 BBMAs show alongside a truckload of other stars including Ariana GrandeShawn MendesFifth Harmony with Ty Dolla SignTroye SivanMeghan Trainor, The Go-Go'sBlake Shelton, Lukas Graham and Gwen Stefani, DNCENick Jonas featuring Tove LoRihanna and Demi Lovato, as well as the debut of Adele's music video for "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" and special showcases featuring Britney SpearsPinkCeline Dion, plus Madonna honoring the legacy of Prince.

And while it's only a welcome to the stage gig for now, Khaled said he's totally down for a collabo in the future. "Absolutely, I'm a big fan, and I wanted to make music with him," Khaled said. "I want to make a record with him for sure." 

This year’s ceremony will air live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Sunday, May 22, from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
