The only question is: who gets to sit in the front seat? James Corden announced on Thursday that Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato will be the next superstars to take a musical ride with him in an upcoming Carpool Karaoke episode.

Corden didn't say when the bit would air (only "coming soon"), but the pairing makes sense since Lovato and Jonas are launching their joint Future Now tour in June.

Judging by some behind-the-scenes shots that Corden also posted, it looks like it won't necessarily come down to whoever yells "shotgun!" first, as the trio appear to have performed on a Los Angeles street, with the late night host sitting in on drums.

They'll have a pretty high bar to leap if they want to beat the record-setting Adele episode, which rolled up 42 million views within five days, making it the most-watched late night YouTube clip ever; to date the clip is just shy of 100 million views.
