Fresh off killing it on Saturday Night Live, where he showed off his acting skills playing a sultry gardener and his voice with performances of singles "Champagne Problems" and "Close," Nick Jonas is prepping for a major honor.

The singer and Kingdom star is lined up to take home the Hal David Starlight Award on June 9 at the Songwriters Hall of Fame 47th annual induction and awards at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York.
