Listen to the Avett Brothers' Foot-Stomping New Single 'Ain't No Man'

Ahead of the June 24 release of True Sadness, The Avett Brothers have released "Ain't No Man," the foot-stomping first single from their ninth studio album. 

"I think of ‘Ain't No Man’ as a self-motivating anthem...a kind of currency to buy a little courage when you're having trouble feeling courageous on your own," Seth Avett said in a press release about the band's latest single.

In a letter to fans last month, Avett spoke about the band's upcoming album, saying that it was "a patchwork quilt, both thematically and stylistically."

The singer continued: "Wherein a myriad of contrasting fabrics make perfect sense on the same plane, this album draws upon countless resources from its writers and performers... There are moments of undeniable celebration and camaraderie, others of quiet and lonely exhalation."

The Avett Brothers are currently on tour through July and will be making stops in all corners of the country. Listen to "Ain't No Man" from True Sadness below:
