Garry Shandling's spokesman says doctors believe the comedian died from a heart attack on Thursday, March 24.

Alan Nierob says Shandling had no history of heart trouble, but doctors at the hospital where Shandling died Thursday said it appeared the 66-year-old suffered a fatal heart attack.

A coroner's official says Shandling died from natural causes and no autopsy is planned.
