Iggy Azalea Drops Lyric Video for New Track 'Team': Watch
"Team" is the Aussie rapper’s first new music since "Pretty Girls," her collab with Britney Spears which dropped in May 2015. The electro hip-hop track dropped this morning on iTunes and will earn its first public performance when Azalea appears next week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
"Keep on pushing, like a dealer/ Keep on shooting, Reggie Miller/Go and give 'em all the finger/You gotta set the score right, call it Hans Zimmer," she raps in "Team". Watch the lyric video below.
The arrival of "Team" was anything but a surprise. Azalea announced the track back in December, shared its artwork 10 days ago and apparently stayed up much of the night tweeting about the release, responding to fans and discussing life in general.
Among the notable comments from Iggy overnight: the official music video for “Team” will arrive next week (when she’ll add more merch to her store) and she’s currently feeling unwell (though she’s adamant her illness won’t effect her "Fallon" performance).

Digital Distortion will be Azalea's second studio record, following her Grammy-nominated The New Classic from 2014, which featured the big hits "Fancy" and "Black Widow." No release date has been revealed.
Azalea has openly confessed she had a tough time in 2015, a year punctuated with beefs with other hip-hop artists and a scrapped tour.
"If I could, I would Men in Black memory-erase 2015, I totally would -- that would be amazing!" she recently told Elle Canada. Feuds with Azealia Banks and a pizza chain were among the year's low points. “Even though I still hate Azealia Banks, I wish I had said it in a way that didn’t make people think I was oblivious to the (Black Lives Matter ) movement. And I wish I hadn’t gotten into a fight with Papa John’s," she added.
Azalea’s 2016 is already shaping up to be a bigger, better year than last. The artist is preparing to wed the L.A. Lakers basketball star Nick Young, and she’s expected to embark on a major international tour in the coming months.
