Keith Caulfield answers readers' questions about Michelle Branch, Lisa Marie Presley, and Pearl Jam.

Dear Keith,

"The Game of Love" by Santana and Michelle Branch is an excellent song -- I love it! I noticed that on the Adult Top 40 chart the song stayed at No. 1 for quite some time. I was wondering exactly how long the hit stayed on top.

Another thing, when exactly is Michelle Branch planning on releasing her new album? Has she even started recording? If so should we be planning on hearing a new single on the radio soon?

Also, "The Game of Love" won a Grammy last week, as I recall. Is this Michelle's first Grammy? I imagine so.

Thank for all your time I appreciate you answering all of my questions.

Hello Joe,

Santana and Michelle Branch's "The Game Of Love" spent 13 weeks atop Billboard's Adult Top 40 chart.

Michelle Branch's second album is due out in the late spring or early summer, though a release date has not been announced. She began recording the follow-up to "The Spirit Room" last year. In fact, if you caught her live shows, you would have heard some new tunes that will probably surface on the next album. "Spirit" peaked at No. 28 on The Billboard 200 and has spent 80 weeks on the chart thus far. The album has sold 1.7 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Branch and Santana won the Grammy best pop collaboration with vocals for "The Game Of Love." She was nominated twice this year -- including a nod for best new artist. This was her first Grammy award win.

Dear Keith,

I understand that Lisa Marie Presley will be releasing an album. When is the CD due to be released and for what label is she recording? Is there any other information that you can pass on about this release?

Terry Campbell

Hi Terry,

Lisa Marie Presley's debut album, "To Whom It May Concern," will be released April 8 via Capitol. The set's lead single is "Lights Out," which was produced by Andrew Slater and written by Presley, Glen Ballard, and Clif Magness.

"Lights" recently debuted at No. 38 on Billboard's Adult Top 40 chart. The music video for the track world-premiered on VH1 last week.

Hi Keith,

Pearl Jam is set to tour the U.S. in April. I'm excited to go see them three times in June. I was wondering how their latest album, "Riot Act," is doing on the charts. Has it reached gold or platinum status? How many times platinum are their six previous studio albums?

Bill Hahn

Hi Bill,

According to the Recording Industry of America (RIAA), which bases their awards on album shipments to retailers, Pearl Jam's "Riot Act" has not been certified gold or platinum yet (500,000 and 1 million units shipped, respectively).

The Epic album debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 last November. Since its release, the album has sold 422,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, which tracks actual sales to the consumer.

What follows is a list of Pearl Jam's previous studio albums, and sales information for each. In parenthesis, the album's gold or platinum certification information is included, followed by the Nielsen SoundScan sales total: "Ten" (11x platinum; 8.6 million), "Vs." (5x platinum; 5.8 million), "Vitalogy" (5x platinum; 4.6 million), "No Code" (platinum; 1.3 million), "Yield" (platinum; 1.6 million), and "Binaural" (gold; 721,000).
