Isley Brothers principal Ronald Isley has linked with legendary songwriter/producer Burt Bacharach for an as-yet-untitled album, due Nov. 11 from DreamWorks. Two new compositions grace the set, which is filled out by Isley's interpretations of Bacharach classics.

Produced by Bacharach and co-produced by Isley, the new album was recorded in July, with Isley fronting a 40-piece orchestra conducted and arranged by Bacharach. Isley's takes on "Alfie," "Make It Easy on Yourself" and "A House Is Not a Home" highlight the album, as does a duet between the two musicians on album closer "Windows of the World."

Other classic Bacharach tunes destined for the set include "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head," "In Between the Heartaches," "The Look of Love," "Anyone Who Had a Heart" and "Here I Am." Two new songs, "Count on Me" and "Love Is (Still) the Answer," round out the album.

"I've been waiting to record these songs for 30 years," said Isley in a statement. "When we weren't singing rock'n'roll and soul, I was listening to these songs performed by other artists and saying to myself, 'Man I sure would love to sing stuff like that.' Working with Burt is a dream come true."

Bacharach and Isley plan to perform in select cities following the album's release and will also make some promotional television appearances.
