Kelly Clarkson Has No Problem With Her Current RCA Team, Despite 'Blackmail' Remark

In a recent interview with with Australia’s KIIS 1065, Kelly Clarkson said she was pressured into working with former collaborator Dr. Luke by her label.

In one of her comments, she said, “I got blackmailed by my label. They were like, ‘We will not put your album out if you don’t do this.’” Clarkson’s label RCA is owned by parent company Sony; Kesha, Sony and Dr. Luke are currently engaged in a highly publicized legal struggle.

Earlier today (March 8), Clarkson tweeted a follow-up. She didn’t take back anything, but made it clear that she wasn’t referring to anyone she currently works with at RCA. “Just want to clarify that my current regime at @RCA is not the same one that forced me to work w/Dr. Luke,” she tweeted. “Peter Edge is rad & a good dude!”
