Warner Music Group has struck a joint venture with Crush Music co-founders Jonathan Daniel and Bob McLynn for the launch of a new label.

Weezer’s self-titled, 10th studio album -- the so-called White Album -- will be the first release through Crush Music. It’s due out April 1 via Crush Music/Atlantic Records, and all future Crush recordings handled through the new JV will be released via Atlantic or Warner Bros. Records with Crush’s chief marketing officer Dan Kruchkow working across the projects with either team.

"Crush has an impressive ability to attract and develop unique talent," said Warner Bros. Records chairman & CEO Cameron Strang. "This new label will make an excellent addition to the family, and we are all looking forward to working together to nurture exciting artists and release amazing music."

Julie Greenwald, Atlantic Records chairman & COO, and Craig Kallman, Atlantic Records chairman & CEO note the association with Crush goes back more than a decade, and the team “bring great ears, creativity, vision, and dedication to their work, and they share our mission of building artists’ careers for the long haul.”

Crush was established in 2002 by Daniel and McLynn, both former musicians. The pair discovered Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco and built a business which has blossomed into a full-service music organization with staff across radio, digital, TV/film, brand partnerships, PR, and content production.

Based in New York, the full management company’s roster includes Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Big Data, Butch Walker, Charley Marley, Fall Out Boy, Kiesza, LOLO, Matt Nathanson, MAX, New Politics, Panic! At The Disco, Sia, Train, Travie McCoy, Wavves, Weezer, and White Sea.
