LizaIn her first screen-acting gig in more than eight years, Liza Minnelli has been tapped to do a multi-episode guest arc on Fox's new comedy "Arrested Development." The Imagine TV/20th Century Fox TV show, set to premiere Nov. 2, revolves around the eccentric Bluth clan, which has to band together after the family patriarch (Jeffrey Tambor) is arrested for fraud and their assets are frozen.

Minnelli will play a rich widowed socialite who is the Bluth family matriarch's biggest nemesis. Minnelli's most recent screen role was in CBS' 1995 adaptation of Earnest Thompson's play "The West Side Waltz," in which she starred opposite Shirley MacLaine.

RickyRicky Martin, Marc Anthony and Donna Summer will join forces for an Oct. 28 concert at New York's Theatre at Madison Square Garden as part of New York radio station WKTU's "An Intimate Evening with KTU." Summer's portion of the show will include a tribute to the former disco diva.

Tickets will be available to the public starting Thursday (Oct. 2) via
Ticketmaster, but members of KTU's "A List" (free registration available at the station's official Web site) can purchase them Wednesday (Oct. 1).

TajActor Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, Miss., will be the venue for a ten-day concert series titled "Journey to Clarksdale," to be held in mid-October and be filmed for a movie, a television series, DVD and CD releases and a radio series.

The shoot will take place Oct. 17-26, with each night focusing on a different aspect of the blues. "Delta Acoustic Blues," "Gospel Voices," "New Orleans Blues," "Hip Hop, Rap, Rock and the Blues" and more will lead up to a "Community Jam" on the final night. Artists set to participate include Taj Mahal, Cassandra Wilson, Alvin Youngblood Hart, R.L. Burnside, Eric Burdon, Levon Helm, Booker T. & the M.G.s, Susan Tedeschi, Koko Taylor, Allen Toussaint, Buckwheat Zydeco, Nas, Olu Dara and Otis Rush.
