Justin Bieber’s inaugural Grammy win was a dream come true…for the pop star and for his Beliebers.

The Canadian singer’s fans have been busily recirculating a tweet overnight which their hero had shared back in 2010. In it, Bieber wrote, “#2011 the dream...would be to win a grammy. that would be just amazing. a boy can dream right? #2011.”

Well, it’s five years on but the boy doesn’t have to dream any more. Bieber won his first Grammy Award Monday night for "Where Are Ü Now," his 2015 single with Skrillex and Diplo. The song won the best dance recording category, beating out tracks by Flying Lotus, The Chemical Brothers, Galantis, and Above & BeyondIt was his third Grammy nomination.
