Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the foulest of them all?

Okay, in 2016, we don't turn to mirrors for answer -- we turn to the Internet. And thanks to Musixmatch, that question has now been answered.

In a recent study, the lyrics website looked at the number and frequency of swear words in popular artists' catalogs. No, every artist in history wasn't considered -- Musixmatch studied 361 artists based on the most Googled names in music.

Of that list, Lil Wayne came in at No. 1 with the highest count of so-called curse words in his catalog, followed by Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and T.I.

Part of Weezy's status as the Curse King is undoubtedly due to the massive number of songs he's released over the years. When you address frequency of profanity, it's another story entirely.

Music Videos Should Carry Alcohol & Tobacco Warnings, Says Study

Chief Keef uses swear words more often in his lyrics than any other artist they studied, with one profanity occurring for every 20 words in his lyrics. After that it's Dr. Dre, N.W.A, A$AP Rocky and Young Thug.

Outside of rap, which Musixmatch calls the most profane genre out of the eight they studied, heavy metal comes in second for most swear words. Korn tops that list, earning them the title of World's Most Profane Metal Band, something it's unlikely they'd be too ashamed of.

Perhaps surprisingly, Green Day is the most profane rock group per this study, but keep in mind Musixmatch studied a list based on frequently Googled artists. So while there are plenty of rock groups with dirtier mouths than Green Day, they probably weren't included on this list.

As for the least profane genre, country music is the cleanest. Those artists just can't stand any of that doggone swearin'.

And despite their No. 1 hit "I Swear," All-4-One are nowhere to be found on this list.
