Adele joins James Corden for Carpool Karaoke on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," on January 13, 2016.

From Adele to One Direction, these musical bits kept us laughing -- and singing along.

James Corden unveiled another delightful Carpool Karaoke segment Wednesday night (Jan. 13), this time with the hilarious Adele. She rapped, she sang some Spice Girls....it was pretty much perfect.

The segment has been done about a dozen times before, and it's a great late-night bit because it allows the celebrities to (seemingly) relax, sing a couple of fun songs in a different environment than the studio, and, in the best cases, show off their off-the-cuff humor alongside someone who seems just as excited as fans at home.

With today's news that the next participant would be one Sir Elton John (airing after the Super Bowl), we rounded up just a few of our favorites below.

5. Mariah Carey
She seemed slightly skeptical at first (would fans expect anything less?), but Corden's enthusiasm eventually wore her down, and it's a treat to watch her break out a couple of her iconic signature riffs.

4. Stevie Wonder
Try and watch this one without smiling. On second thought, don't. Just watch Stevie run through a few of his biggest hits and charmingly banter with Corden.

3. Justin Bieber
So charming he got two volumes! The singer isn't shy about his "Baby" roots, but the best part is Corden donning his investigative reporter hat to get to the bottom of some lyrical mysteries. ("Chillin' by the fire while we eating fondue" -- "Fondue is not a good date food.")

2. One Direction
It's no surprise the guys are totally down to be goofy, and even sitting in a car can't totally hold back their rocking out alongside early hits like "What Makes You Beautiful." The guys also give some fairly honest answer in between the fun, discussing out-of-control fans and their futures. Corden even -- in a sneaky way -- got Niall Horan to comment on Selena Gomez. MVP goes to Harry Styles in the middle back seat of the car, all long hair and crazy energy.

1. Adele
The singer, naturally, sounds phenomenal on her own tracks, but it's the secret surprise thrill of watching her sing the Spice Girls or rap to Nicki Minaj that make this mandatory viewing. Her charming laugh while Corden quizzes her on squads, drinking and Beyonce is just the icing on the cake. Bonus: "Drop the big A" needs to officially be part of the lexicon, stat.
