Country Singer Craig Strickland Missing, Friend Found Dead

Backroad Anthem singer Craig Strickland and friend Chase Morland disappeared while on a hunting trip on Kaw Lake in Oklahoma this past weekend. According to local news outlet KFOR, the men were reported missing on Sunday when family and friends had not heard from them in 24 hours.

While Strickland remains missing, Backroad Anthem revealed that Morland had been found dead on Monday.

Craig's wife, family, band and friends have been keeping loved ones and fans updated on further developments via social media. His wife Helen tweeted that the boat the friends had been using on their trip had capsized.

Prior to leaving for the trip, Morland posted a tweet, which has become ominous in light of his death and Strickland’s disappearance. 

According to the report, authorities will continue the search for Strickland today.
