Phish is putting up for sale triple-disc CD sets documenting three concerts from 2003, via its official Web site, as well as select independent record stores across the U.S. The CD sets, which come with full artwork, are an extension of the band's Live Phish Downloads service, which launched a year ago and now offers 42 Phish concerts for sale in downloadable form as well as 10 shows from a solo tour by frontman Trey Anastasio.

The shows -- Feb. 28 at Uniondale, N.Y.'s Nassau Coliseum, July 15 at West Valley City, Utah's USANA Amphitheatre and July 29 at Burgettstown, Pa.'s Post-Gazette Pavilion at Star Lake -- were chosen due to their popularity on the downloads site. Each set will be sold for $18 or $48 for all three. The releases are not affiliated with the band's Live Phish series through Elektra Records, which the group says "has been discontinued for the time being."

"Since we launched the Live Phish Downloads service last December, many of the more Luddite Phish fans (and we mean that in a good way) have expressed to us their interest in seeing select shows from the download series released on CD," the band says in a statement. Each of the three sets has been remastered.

As previously reported, the quartet embarks Friday (Nov. 28) on an eight-show fall tour that will include a four-show New Year's stand at Miami's American Airlines Arena.
