Ed Sheeran took time out to take in a “peep show” during his stadium run in Australia. Well, sort of. This wasn’t your regular “peep show”. For starters, the clothes were kept on. And the entertainment was provided by none other than Sheeran himself.

The British singer played along with Aussie comedy stars Hamish & Andy for a sketch in which passers-by were encouraged to part with $2 for a glimpse at Sheeran in a dodgy room. With Hamish Blake touting incognito on the street, Sheeran didn’t have any takers for 2 hours and 20 minutes. An intrepid couple then took a chance to get the ball rolling. And they got a lot more than they bargained for. The expression on each visitor’s face is priceless.

Earlier, Sheeran caught up with the retired world champion cricketer Shane Warne for a practice session -- with a bat and ball, not a guitar -- in Melbourne. Sheeran “rocked the MCG nets big time,” Instagrammed Warne, who once held the all-time record for wickets taken in Test matches (708). “You’re a legend sir,” was Sheeran’s response.
