Dave Navarro Opens Up About His Late Mother In 'Mourning Son' Documentary: Exclusive

Fans are about to experience a side of Dave Navarro that he's rarely shared before. 

In a new documentary titled Mourning Son, the Jane's Addiction co-founder opens up about his mother’s tragic murder in 1983. In the clip premiering below, Navarro expresses the apprehension he has toward recounting the story: “It feels ugly to tell the story. I get choked up and when I tell the A to B to C story... I get intense.

“Everything I’ve done in my life has been about walking through fear and getting on the other side of it and going, 'that wasn’t so bad.'
