Clear eyes + full hearts = a can't-lose musical?

Beloved television drama Friday Night Lights is being resurrected as a one-night-only musical event The Unauthorized Friday Night Lights Musical, by team Sucker Punch Productions, who recently did the same thing with both The O.C. and Cruel Intentions. While the full cast for this interpretation has yet to be announced, one name already has fans super-excited: Scott Porter, a.k.a the actor who played Jason Street on the show, will return -- this time as Coach Taylor.

Details are scarce, but the show will take place in Los Angeles at some point in 2016. Fans should tide themselves over by watching this Dubsmash that Porter posted earlier today. Crying is optional, but fairly likely.
