James Taylor Sings 'La Marseillaise' in Tribute to Paris

Following Celine Dion’s stunning Paris tribute at the American Music Awards, fellow music power player James Taylor offered his own chanson. The “You’ve Got A Friend” singer performed “La Marseillaise,” the French national anthem, on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Monday night.

Though somber, the French flag in the background paired with Taylor’s warm vocals emphasizes the sense of unity and hope that follows tragedy.
