Donald Trump Shares Surprising Thoughts on Taylor Swift & Jay Z

Donald Trump

Donald Trump flashes the thumbs-up as he arrives on stage for the start of the prime time Republican presidential debate on Aug. 6, 2015 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

In an interview with Yahoo! Politics posted Thursday (Nov. 19), Donald Trump was asked to play a word association game that included subjects as wide-ranging as Charlie Sheen ("sad") and ISIS ("evil"). The billionaire-turned-Republican presidential candidate largely stuck to the rules, giving only one or two word responses to each question -- except when they asked his thoughts on "Kim Kardashian."

“Well, look, she was so nice to me," he gushed about Kardashian. "I mean every time I see her she’s just -- I’m just going to say she was always nice to me." Among presumably other meetings, Kardashian appeared on an episode of Trump's The Apprentice.

Trump also had nothing but compliments for two of music's biggest stars, Taylor Swift and Jay Z. Of the 1989 singer Trump declared Swift "terrific," which is what you say if you want to one day be part of her super-powerful Squad.

Of Jay Z, The Donald responded, "good guy." Given Jay-Z and Beyonce's friendly relationship with the Obamas, don't expect to see the rapper at a Trump inauguration any time soon.
