The singing and acting breakout was previously without an agency

Empire’s Jussie Smollett has signed with CAA, The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard have exclusively learned. UTA will represent the actor/singer for music touring.

Smollett had been without an agency ever since breaking out as middle son Jamal Lyon in the Fox sensation, now in its sophomore season. He got his start as a child actor, starring alongside his five siblings in the 1994-95 ABC family sitcom On Our Own, and will reunite with sister Jurnee Smollett-Bell as a guest star on WGN America’s period drama Underground, which will premiere next year.
