One Direction fans itching for new 1D material are in luck. After hosting a listening party earlier this week for their upcoming album, Made in the A.M., the guys -- Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne -- previewed two new songs: “Temporary Fix” and “Walking in the Wind" with commentary from Horan and Styles.

The sunny track “Temporary Fix” was a songwriting collaboration between Horan, British songwriter Wayne Hector and two members of production team TMS. “They asked me when I went into the session what [One Direction] didn’t have and I basically said, ‘We don’t have a rock song,” said Horan, name-dropping Kings of Leon’s smash hit “Sex On Fire” as the muse for their “dark” love song about a night at the bar.

“It’s relatable, I guess,” he adds. “Everyone has a grungy night out every now and then.”

For the second teaser, Styles revealed the inspiration behind the breezy, upbeat jam “Walking In The Wind.”

"I like 'Walking in the Wind' because I’m a big Paul Simon fan and I think the inspiration behind it was [his 1986 album] Graceland, in which the verse was so conversational, informal and it’s like spoken word,” he said.

1D recently wrapped their On the Road tour with an emotional show in Sheffield. Their Made in the A.M. LP drops Nov. 13.
