One Direction’s last on-stage hoorah in Sheffield on Saturday night (Oct. 31) proved to be an emotionally bromantic one. According to timelines, there were loads of hugs, conga line dancing and reminiscing for their On The Road tour finale before the group's extended break into 2016.

The pop boy band carried on their world tour, even after fifth member, Zayn Malik, exited the group this past March. The quartet -- Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan -- poured their hearts out and ran through their catalog of chart-toppers.

Payne told the crowd, “Basically, we are a mess.”

"I still can't believe this. I remember five years ago when this all started. Our first gig was a little nightclub in Scotland," Horan added.

The show seemed like one big, happy celebration as the bros hugged it out and serenaded their fans, even forming a stageside conga line during their performance of "Act My Age."

One fan in attendance pointed out that Styles even showed Malik love, saying, "Thank you for supporting me and my four bros."

After performing over 80 shows across 20 countries, One Direction’s farewell gig made it rain tears from 1D diehards though Horan promised on Twitter that they’d be back.

Styles also dished out thank you tweets.
