It’s always going to be a tough ask to follow Pentatonix. Just ask any of the guests on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The vocal group opened the late night talkshow with an a cappella version of The Roots Tonight Show theme which was dripping in the sort of elegant simplicity that has won them a Grammy and millions of fans. Check out the clip below.

The five-piece hung around for a performance of their new single "Can’t Sleep Love," which is lifted from the group’s first full-length, non-covers studio album, Pentatonix, which arrives today (Oct. 16) on RCA.

Pentatonix: 'We Want to Be Considered a Band, Like Maroon 5 or Coldplay'

Pentatonix comes on the heels of three previous EPs (each of which has sold 200,000 copies) and its blockbuster That’s Christmas to Me, which opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 to become the highest-charting Christmas album by a group since 1962.
